It has been a while since I have created some nail art and to be honest, I have really missed sorting through my nail polishes and plucking some inspiration. I was a little rusty, but practice makes perfect they say! I was very pleased with how they turned out none the less.
This was a fun design to paint, however it does take patience as there is a fair few layers going on. I started off with a nice neutral tone for the base. Then, I used a white for the bottom half, this one has a subtle sparkle to it too. I used a polish barrier to help with the mess I was clearly going to make, very handy to have some in your kit! For the black I used a nail polish that had a thin brush to create the line and lashes. Lastly, I just used a dotting tool with the same black as the lines to add the iris of the eye. Don't forget your top coat to seal it all in at the end, but wait for it all to dry so you don't smudge your wonderful lazy eye nails.

DeleteOh my gosh I love these! I also think that the design would look great as a feature nail contrasted against a bright shade. I definitely think I'm going to have a go at re-creating it.
