Illamasqua Growl Lipstick Review

If you are into makeup just like I am then you probably already know about the brand Illamasqua and all the hype about their products. You would probably also know about the beauty bargains you can find in TKMaxx. It is pot luck if you manage to find a high end product in there that hasn't been swatches, poked or smashed, let's just say I was one of the lucky ones this time round.

Feeling Festive

It has really taken me a while to get into the Christmas spirit this year, it may be because we are now in a new home and things still aren't quite finished here or it could be that there has been a lot of stress in my life as of late. Whatever the reason I just wasn't feeling quite as festive as other people seem to of been.

Bru Coffee

Recently I attended a coffee shop in Leicester called Bru with some friends. I ordered myself a hot chocolate as I was really in the mood for one due to the colder weather and just wanting to be cosy. However there was just something not quite right about my hot chocolate, the taste just wasn't how you would expect it to be and it left me so thirsty and disappointed. I left without saying a thing because I am a little British to say something unless I was really outraged about something.

Bloggers Cosy Club Meet

My life has been so up in the air and I have had no time to blog or go to blogging events and meet ups. So finally my friend Laura over at Extremehousewife.blogspot.com organised a meet up that I could actually attend. Just the boost I needed to get back into the swing of blogging again too!

Today I received a parcel that I did not realise I was going to be getting. Obviously I was super excited to get a box of something that I had no idea of what was waiting for me inside.
So I opened up the plastic bag and then contained a plain cardboard box, still so unaware of it's contents.

I can do nails!

Some people do not realise a hidden talent and qualification I have. I am a fully qualified Nail technician at NVQ Level 2.
Nails were my passion for long that I decided to go learn about it more.

Almost There

As you would of seen in my last blog post I am moving home. This of course has stopped me from blogging so frequently and I miss it so bad! It's not all doom and gloom though

I am moving!

Over the past few weeks I have been extremely busy that I have had no time at all to sit down and blog. The spare time I do get I spend on pintrest or The Sims 4 as they seem to be the only things I find myself doing to relax right now.

As you may of guessed from the title of the blog, I am moving home! This is what I have wanted for so damn long now.

Hollow Cult is a brand new clothing brand that opened up on the 31st of July 2015.

The brand is owned by a couple called Tylah and Wheeler from Leicestershire. Everything they do is all by themselves, their designs are made originally and all operations for the company is at their home together. So therefore it is a very humble and down to earth company with great possibilities.

Lush Haul

I am a self confessed Lushie. I love trying out new Lush products from all of their ranges.
However I don't post much about the items I buy because I get so damn excited to use them that I don't even think to take a quick snap of it before I use it.

Feeling a little bored of blogging...

Skin Therapy

As I have mentioned before, I like myself a bargain. Who doesn't like getting what they need at an affordable price? Now I am not saying I would refuse some Elizabeth Arden products, I most certainly grab that offer with both hands. However my pockets just aren't that deep. So I like to find my essentials at a much more easy price and at a convenient place for me. I live on my own so I do need to pop into Wilkinsons for all home necessities. As I was browsing all the variety of products they stock, I discovered that they had a range of beauty products all with the joyful price of just 95p! With all the skin care basics every woman needs to wipe away the day of make up, or maybe just a freshen up. These products are now in my everyday routine and they work a treat. They do exactly what they are suppose to, no weird/strong smells, and feel lovely on my skin. So far I have just four of the products in the Skin Therapy range but I will be purchasing more on my next visit to the store. These are the items I use daily.

Primark Beauty

Seeing as I needed to get a few basic beauty pieces, the best place to go for me was Primark. It's cheap, good quality and has all the items I was in need of, so it's a win win all round.

Christmas Treats

I like to be quite creative and I also like being thoughtful with gifts, so why not make a creative gift? As it's Christmas time I am lovely the taste of cinnamon in almost everything right now. In Coffee, hot chocolate, porridge and the odd cinnamon flavored pastry. So i wanted to put this flavor into something else. Of course the best option was to bake some biscuits (/cookies). After looking on Pintrest for some decoration inspiration, the idea was sold to me! I went out and brought some cookie cutters from a shop called Tiger. Then I got myself some lovely icing pens from poundland, and a few sprinkles of course. I will leave the recipe I used under the pictures. Hopefully you will like the look of then and wont be able to resist making some for your family and friends as a last minute treat. Oh and don't forget to leave some for yourself...and for Santa.
